Visit the Kids Park at Our Lady of the Snow Church
If you’re looking for a fun place for the kids to burn off some energy then a trip to the kids park just behind the Our Lady of the Snow Church. Complete with a 40 foot rocket for the kids to climb, swings, slides and more.
To find this park simply head South on Main St. (just past Northland Pioneer College) and turn left into the Our Lady of the Snow Church parking lot and you’ll see it right in front of you.
Take Your Kids To The Skate Park
That’s right! Snowflake has its very own skate park. This 3000 square foot outdoor facility is complete with ramps, rails and a small half pipe. Bring your skateboard, roller blades or trick bike and be prepared to have a great time. And don’t worry about the little one that come with you in your group. There is a kids park just next door!

Off Main St. (Highway 77) turn West 9th St. go 1 block and it’s on your right.
Thursday Night in the Park
During summer months Snowflake’s local talent take to the stage at Pioneer Park every Thursday night (7:30PM). Admission to the public is absolutily free, so bring your blanket, some lawn chairs and a snack to enjoy a summer night rich with family, friends and entertainment.

4 Mile Null
Looking for a quick hike with a rewarding view? This hike (if you want to call it a hike) takes most beginning hikers less than 10 minutes to get to the top. Once at the top you can spend the next hour or two exploring the almost perfectly flat mesa. Just off the mesa’s edge deep crevices and giant boulders will keep the more agile hiker jumping and crawling their way through the null.
How do I get to 4 Mile Null?
Head North on Main St. (Highway 77) roughly 4 miles past Snowflake Blvd (Highway 277) and turn left (west) onto Reidhead Ave. (dirt road). Drive on Reidhead for just over 1 mile then turn right on Ridgeview Ranch Drive (not marked) and continue for 3/4 mile. Park near the base of the trail on the North side of the null.
